Feline is sold with a 6 month health guarantee. If Feline dies within this time frame, a vet must provide a written document stating the cause of death, and another Feline of Equal or greater value will be granted by Zafiro Cattery. All medical/vet, extra shipping costs will be at the purchaser’s expense. Feline must be vet checked within 7 business days after placement, and must not come into contact with any other cat until vet visit. If purchaser does not comply with these terms, the health guarantee is null and void.

Pedigrees of this kitten's parents will be sent to the purchaser by mail or in person at time of purchase.
 

Registration of the kitten shall be provided to purchaser after full purchase price has been paid. (Litter Registration has been received from CFA).

Rules re Defects/Illness: This feline is free from lethal congenital defects, and if show quality, is also free of disqualifying defects, and is guaranteed free from diseases for 7 days from the date of transfer. Under no circumstances will the seller pay for veterinary care provided by the purchaser's veterinarian. If legal action is necessary to enforce this contract it shall be in the county of the seller (Cook County, Chicago, IL).

Vaccination: Purchaser agrees to continue vaccination of this cat for respiratory viruses and against rabies if it is required in Purchaser’s community. Purchaser also agrees to have a veterinarian examine the cat within 7 business days of placement and notify the seller of any significant illness or defect. The purchaser also agrees not to administer oronasal FIP vaccine to the cat, never to sell this cat to (or through) a pet store or lab, nor to declaw the cat. This cat must never be let outside to roam free. This cat may not be bred or a part of stud servicing without the permission of the seller, or if otherwise stated in this agreement.

Guarantee re Breeding: Seller does not guarantee this Feline to be a proven breeder.

If purchaser is no longer able to keep this Feline, then the purchaser must surrender Feline to the seller, at the expense of the Purchaser.

Zafiro cats and kittens are raised in our home, have free range of the house, are well loved, cared for, and socialized.

 

We do not let our kittens leave our home until they are between 3-4 months of age.

 

Zafiro kittens and cats are up-to-date on vaccines, wormed, and litter-trained. Pet Quality Kittens are spayed/neutered prior to placement at the purchaser’s expense.

 

Our cats are PKD negative and FIV, FELV negative, 100% free from ringworm and parasites. Kittens are sold with a 6 month health guarantee, only valid if purchaser has cat/kitten vet checked within 7 days after the placement date.

 

Kittens/Cats price depends on color, pattern, type, and quality. Keep in mind costs includes the care and supplies needed in the first 3-4 months of life. Zafiro cattery does not guarantee any breeder cat to be a proven breeder, nor any cat sold as a show cat to be a champion/Grand champion or top show quality.

 

A Deposit of 30% of the total cost is needed in order to reserve your cat. This deposit is non refundable, should purchaser change their mind and not purchase any cat.

 

Payments are taken in good faith and are not refundable. If a kitten cannot be picked up or received via shipment on or before agreed upon date, $15 a day will be charged to the purchaser for boarding.

 

Accepted payments are: Bank-issued money order, Bank-issued cashier's check, or cash. If payment is made via bank-issued money order/cashier's check, payment must be delivered in person or mailed using the US Postal Service Certified Mail, UPS, or Fedex for safety and verification of date mailed and received.

 

Both domestic and international shipping are available at the buyer’s expense from Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Shipping costs include airfare, vet check, USDA health certificate, additional per state required shipping vaccines (i.e.. rabies), airport delivery expenses (i.e. gas, parking), carrier, blanket, etc. Only using Continental Pet Safe Program, shipping cost vary depending on the circumstances. Shipping price should be determined before the date of the final payment.

We reserve the right to refuse a sale at any time without explanation.
